Wonderfully refreshing and thirst quenching homemade flavored water. Ideal and healthy alternative to bought soda drinks.
4-5 thick slices of ginger, peeled
½ small cucumber, washed, cut into thin slices
½ organic lemon, sliced
Juice of ½ lemon
½ organic lime, sliced
Juice of ½ lime
½ nectarine or peach, cut into small pieces
10-15 fresh melissa leaves
2 liters water
1-2 drops of liquid stevia (optional)
Easy Recommendation: instead of melissa, you can use fresh mint leaves, substitute lime with slices and juice of the red grapefruit. If you like your water fizzy, add some sparkling mineral water as well.
