Wow, thank you for your great comment on my photos, what an honor coming from a professional food stylist!  Can't wait to see what will happen to my photos when I get a real camera OR work with a real photographer!  I'm slowly learning basic "secondary" color combinations like brown food/turquoise, burgundy/white,  and orange/green but I see in your photos there is such a varied palette of tone-on-tone and contrasts.  I'll be visiting your photo gallery often to "study" your combinations and compositions.

P.S.  I have a whole round of cork from a tree (http://lapsushumanus.blogspot.com/2010/06/what-should-i-do-with-this.html).. I've been wondering for years how to use it. Your "mochi" photo on bark is stunning.  If not with food, perhaps I can use my bark  it in the background with flowers sticking out of it or something.  Thank you for the inspiration!
