Speaking of another one near the Oyster House is "Cedar House" at Whitsett and Riverside. Just awesome!

The Oyster House! Talk about a blast from my past. I spent many of night in the concrete jungle. Not to mention the Clam Chowder is awesome!

Ariste - I'll have to check out Oyster House...I am an oyster FANATIC..and I like my oysters pure - no cocktail sauce (yuk!), no fancy mignonettes for this girl..i want to TASTE those bad boys.
I'll add some my favorites soon...work beckons!

Dive-y is my favorite. The more low-down the better. Speaking of low-down, I went to the Oyster House for the first time (Moorpark & Whitsett) and was in heaven. Yummy goodness. Not expensive, great food, cheap booze, regulars camped out at the bar, what more can you ask for?
